Shipwreck Holdings is a privately held investment and holding company. We are based in Edmonton, Alberta, and our interests sit across Western Canada.
We own businesses in manufacturing and consumer packaged goods, specialty multi-site retail, industrial and commercial services, and commercial real estate and development. We hold majority or whole ownership, and we are involved in running what we own.
There is no fund behind us, no outside investors and no exit clock. That is the whole of the difference, and it is the part that matters to the people we deal with.

Most buyers arrive with a fund behind them and a date by which they have to sell. We do not. We buy businesses we intend to keep, and we plan on the timescale that suits the business rather than the one that suits a vintage.
